Carpe Diem, Dear!!

"31 Juli 1979", dulu aku membacanya. Menebak-nebak, dan mengambil kesimpulan kalau rasi bintang yang menaungi kelahiranmu adalah yang berlambang singa itu. Tidak lama, kau mengakui kalau kehadiranmu di dunia ini terjadi sebulan berikutnya. Virgo. Lembut.

29 tahun sudah, -beberapa jam lagi- kau hadir di dunia ini. Mungkin, kau menghadirkan senyum untuk orang-orang di sekelilingmu. Satu yang aku yakini, kau tidak pernah gagal membawaku terbahak-bahak. Hingga beberapa menit tadi. Sesaat sebelum ucapan klise itu terucap.

"Ini bukan sesuatu yang besar. Biasa saja", ucapmu.


Aku hanya ingin merayakan hari dimana pembawa tawa itu hadir di dunia ini. Itu saja.
